The Clark Family

This is the original: After some touch ups:

When I was in Vegas I got some pictures from Alice and Jeanetta that needed doctoring, with our move finally behind us I have some time to work on these pictures. The first one I did was of the Clark family. This one is in pretty bad shape. The Baby, Estella, is almost impossible to clean up because so much of her was damaged. I'm still working on the restoration, but thought I'd post where I am now. How we are related. The tall girl in the center is Clara (Clarissa) Alvira Clark, she is the mother of Alvira Rhoana Henrie. These are her parents John Clark and Alvira Jane Pratt. The two boys are Osborne Clark on the visual left and John T. Clark on the right, the baby is Florence Estella Clark. These images are small so I can post them quickly here, let me know if you are interested in a cd with a larger file.

Thiriot Family Reunion at The Ranch

Dear Family,

It was so good to see everyone at The Ranch for our family reunion. It was exciting to see the old place and think about our parents and grandparents and the lives they lived. We are grateful for our ancestors and the examples they set for us.
With that in mind, we wanted to put together a place that we could share information about our family. We each have different memories, and some have pictures they would like to share. We would like this blog to be an open forum where we can post pictures and stories and share with everyone the information that we have.
The hope is that we can compile the information into an interesting and usable family history. Jeanetta Thiriot Peterson, Alice Thiriot Waite and Amy Thiriot Sorensen met this last week and looked over pictures and started working on a plan to help this project get started. We know that we cannot complete it without the help of every family member. We decided to start with George William and Alvira Henrie Thiriot that we would get a life sketch of their lives and general timeline of where they lived and what they did. Pictures will be included, George William was quite the photographer. We will post pictures and encourage everyone who has additional pictures and stories to post them as well.
We are excited to get this project going.
